Zoe and Carson drove from the Venice area for sunset to meet me for their first anniversary couples photos on Siesta Key beach in Florida. Siesta Key was ranked as the number one beach in the USA in 2020 making it the perfect photo location for any photoshoot. It is known for its long white powdery sand, sparkly blue waters, and unbeatable sunsets.
Siesta Key Couple Photos
Zoe and Carson have been dating for over a year now! Zoe wanted photos that match their casual and fun-filled relationship at the place where Carson asked her to make it official! We borrowed a surfboard that made their photos super unique and it was easy to incorporate as a prop in their session. You don’t have to be a surfer to take photos with a surfboard!
About Photos at Siesta Key in SWFL
The beach we took photos at is on access #8 at Plaza De Las Palmas in Sarasota Florida. Not only is it more private than the main public beach of Siesta Key, but it has some abandoned sailboats that are an in-love couple’s dream! The boats make for a perfect prop that give that authentic Florida vibe. To shake it up, the boats are surrounded by tall beige grass that makes those sitting shots look magical! Not to mention the stunning beach with a wide view of the Atlantic Ocean.
When you park at access #8, you follow the path that walks towards the beach for about 3 minutes. On your way to the beach you will walk through arches of Florida greenery, pass the beautiful boatyard, and feel the golden hour on your face as you brush your hands on the tall grass! I always recommend arriving about an hour before sunset (or sunrise if you want to get really professional) for the best weather and lighting.
I am extremely thankful for my friendship with Zoe + Carson and their young romance was incredible to capture in Siesta Key!
