Vanessa and Steve drove from the North Port area to the island of Boca Grande to meet me for their engagement photos in Southwest Florida. This island is full of different locations and scenery perfect for a super diverse photo gallery!
Boca Grande Couple Photos
Steve and Vanessa booked me for their wedding in 2024, and then decided to take advantage of the free engagement session I offer when a couple books me for their big day! They quickly decided on Boca Grande so they could not only visit the beach, but some architecture and greenery as well. This is probably one of my favorite shoots ever! Vanessa and Steve are so in love and it’s extremely easy to see in their gallery.
About Photos at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Boca Grande
Boca Grande is one of the most popular photo spots in Southwest Florida, but it is large enough of an island that everyone spreads out! With a lighthouse, shipwreck, secret garden, old fashioned library, a street full of banyan trees, hundreds of unique homes, and so much more, the possibilities are endless on this stunning island. We started at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church for some architectural photos, and then into a secret garden in downtown Boca for greenery.
Our main focus though was the beach with the classic Boca lighthouse in the background. The couple was so playful, and it made photographing them easy. The chemistry in this session is real and the location really emphasized how in love these 2 are!
To get to this location, put in Boca Grande on your gps, Banyan Street works as well. There is a $6 toll to get across the bridge per car. Any beach is beautiful but I always recommend parking at the lighthouse (you won’t miss it).
I am extremely thankful for my friendship with Vanessa and Steve and their young romance was incredible to capture in South West Florida!
