Anastasia and Vincent drove from the Venice area for golden hour to meet me for some unique couples photos at the Punta Gorda Airport in Florida. The airport was kind enough to allow us to use their runway and a few of their planes as props for this super in-love couple!

Anastasia and Vincent have been dating for about 2 years! Anastasia wanted photos that reflect their dreams of traveling the world together someday. We checked in with the front desk and got access to the runway with an employee monitoring us on this cloudy day. You don’t have to be a pilot to take some pics with planes!

About Photos at an Airport in SWFL

The airport is the perfect place to take photos for all kinds of people! I previously shot a graduate who just gained his pilots license and wanted to celebrate doing so. He will now remember the airport he studied at forever! Women with significant others in the military can also benefit from couples photos with planes representing the love that lasted while they were miles away. He can even wear his uniform in a few!

To get there, put in 28000 Airport Road, Punta Gorda Florida in the GPS. Park out front and head inside to speak with the front desk. I recommend calling in advance for permission to shoot on the runway, there is no guaranteed access if you just arrive with no warning. Call around other airports near you to see if they allow photoshoots or have permits available to do so!

I am extremely thankful for my friendship with Anastasia and Vincent and their young romance was incredible to capture in South West Florida!
