Hannah and Gabriel’s California wedding at the Fallbrook Estates in California was such a beautiful day. The grooms sister was one of my best friends growing up, so I was extremely honored when they asked to fly me out to the other side of the country to photograph his wedding day!

Getting Ready

I stayed with the bridesmaids and bride in an airbnb they rented out only 7 minutes from the wedding venue. Hannah started out the morning by giving gifts to her and Gabe’s parents before getting started with hair and makeup. I captured their flatly during this time, as well as other details such as her dress and shoes!

The girls all had matching pajamas, so we took getting ready photos of them on the couch with a confetti canon which came out AMAZING!!! Gabe got ready in a nearby airbnb with his groomsmen where we did their group shots, he even got thrown into the air!

Both groups then drove to the venue where Hannah zipped up her dress and did a first look with her bridesmaids and dad. She wanted Gabe to see her for the first time that day walking down the aisle, so they opted for a first touch instead.

The Ceremony

The Prachar’s ceremony space was a mini stage just outside of Fallbrook Estate’s country club. The background is a beautiful mountain view, and the couple rented a door for a dramatic entrance for the bride.

During the ceremony there was lots of prayer, a ring exchange, and the couple poured sand into a jar to indicate the connections their souls now have. They shared their first kiss at the altar and celebrated with a dip halfway down the aisle.

Time to Celebrate

During cocktail hour we took family photos, bridal party photos, and couple photos on the side of the building with some very tall green trees! The couple emphasized photos with their LED “love” sign, and there were so many locations for their first few pics as husband and wife.

They then had a grand entrance with cold sparklers which got the guests super hype! The first dance immediately followed, as well as some parent dances and speeches to kick off the reception. I always suggest doing any “events” at the beginning of the night in case guests decide to leave early and miss then parts! This couple did just that, having the newly wed game, generations dance, cake cutting, and bouquet/garter toss within the first hour after dinner.

The rest of the night consisted of lots of dancing to Taylor Swift and throwback y2k hits. They ended the night with another cold sparkler exit, running in between their family and friends into their car straight to their honeymoon.
