Laura and David’s Florida elopement at the Sarasota Courthouse was such an intimate day! These two came across me on Instagram and I stuck by them until they had a definite wedding date! After their first date at the movies, the couple spent so much time apart being from different countries and I’m so happy to finally see them united.
Wedding in Sarasota Florida
Laura and David got ready separately in different homes and I met up with David at the courthouse before Laura arrived. We took his portrait photos while we waited for Laura, and I set him up for their first look. It became very emotional as these two saw each other in their wedding attire for the first time.
They exchanged their vows in private and would say traditional vows during the ceremony. The ceremony was inside in the historic courtroom where they exchanged rings in front of their friends and family. We went outside and took family portraits, and then proceeded to take a ton of couple photos!
For couple photos, we started at the courthouse, both inside and outside. We continued to a parking garage where we took photos up top, and ended in the downtown streets of Sarasota near the local theater. My personal favorite is the elevator photo we took in the parking garage!
Classic Elopement Venue in Sarasota Florida
The Sarasota Courthouse is always filled with couples making the decision to stick together forever. Personally, I think it is the best elopement location in southwest Florida. They have getting ready rooms available to couples, as well as an indoor and outdoor setting for a ceremony. The staff is extremely helpful and I will never say no to an elopement at this courthouse.
Laura and David’s incredible love is easy to see in their wedding photos, enjoy!
