Preston and Mikaela flew from New York to the Tampa area to Le Méridien Hotel to meet me for their engagement photos in Southwest Florida. We had so much fun together that they decided to book me to shoot their wedding in New York in February 2024!

Tampa Florida Engagement Photos

Preston and Mikaela contacted me while they were on vacation in Florida to capture some couple photos to celebrate their newfound engagement. They wanted to go to a location that wasn’t the beach, and I knew the perfect spot! Le Méridien is a historic hotel with massive columns and beautiful white steps. We also went to a nearby park shortly after for some greenery mixed in! They had one outfit change, and this shoot was too fun!

About Photos at Le Méridien in Tampa

The Le Méridien Hotel is located in downtown Tampa in southwest Florida. It was originally a courthouse turned into a place for travelers to say, so it gives you all the elopement vibes! If the front of the hotel gets crowded, there is a Catholic Church right next door with some similar steps and beautiful architecture.

To get there, put in Le Méridien Hotel in your gps and try to find parking. There are some spots right out front of the building, as well as some parking areas that can get expensive. Depending on the day, it can be easy to find a spot or very difficult.

I am extremely thankful for my friendship with Mikaela and Preston and their young romance was incredible to capture in South West Florida!
